A Winter Picnic?

Inspired by Robert Welber's book, The Winter Picnic, the children decided it would be a great idea for us to have one.  With self-sufficiency, they made their own jelly sandwiches (sweet!), squeezed some fresh lemonade (sour!), and opened a bag of potato chips (salty!).  With great imagination, they donned their snow clothes and found SNOW!   Snow angels, winter birds chirping, woodland animals surrounding us, our winter picnic was magical!

You CAN have a picnic in the winter!!!
