Ben Toth Performs at Valley Pre-School

University of Hartford Hartt School of Music Department of Percussion Chair Benjamin Toth and his son, Ben Jr. (a Valley Pre-School alum) performed a percussion concert for the 4 year old classes.  They brought with them percussion instruments from all over the world giving the children a glimpse of the history of percussion. After hearing the talented duo play a variety of pieces, the concert concluded with the children accompanying on their own handmade percussion instruments while the Ben's played the steel drums.  Ahhh, the sweet sounds that filled the air!
